Series Coating

The main focus of work at our Application Centre in Ringen is the optimisation and application of surface treatment processes. High-quality coatings are applied to plastic and metal components on modern and environment-friendly plant. Products with a matt, matt satin or high gloss finish and in all shades, with multicolour, structure, metallic and pearl effect coatings are all part of our diverse range. The core of our manufacturing activities is in liquid coating of small plastic components in series production.

From bumpers and mirror housings to parking sensors, we paint all eligible parts in or on the motor vehicle. Our customers benefit from our production capacities for small, medium-sized and large series. On request, we also paint large items such as lorry drivers' cabs in very small production runs. Our paint booths currently handle more than 450 different colour shades.

State-of-the art production processes enable TTW to guarantee top-quality work. The processes can be flexibly adjusted at any time to meet our customers’ special requirements. Changes of colour and material as well as quantity changes are quickly built into our workflow. This means that our customers can be sure that their order will be processed as quickly and as cost-effectively as possible – even small-volume jobs.

At TTW we pay particular attention to pre-treating and cleaning the parts to be painted. That is the basic requirement for a first-class coating. These steps make all the difference as metal products, for example, tend to have an oily, anti-corrosion protective coating to which paint binds poorly or not at all.

The following steps in the field of pre-treatment and cleaning are an integral part of TTW standards:

Robotic painting

One of our production halls is set up for robotic painting of series in which we can produce top-quality water-based paint applications. This not only meets our high standards but also makes a key contribution to sustainability.
